Guggenheim's museum

The last day of the trip we went to Bilbao to visit the Guggenheim museum.
The Guggenheim museum, without doubt, is the main cultural reference of Bilbao.

The sculpture-style building has spectacular dimensions
It consists of 19 halls as well as an auditorium, a library, a restaurant, 2 coffee bars and a shop

There ara exhibitions which are replased by another for a periode of time. For example with Russian or chinese art
Now there’s a fantastic exhibition called “ Surreal Things”. It explore the influence of Surrealism on the world. It has about 250 objects from public and private collections.
However, we had a little time to visit the museum we could get an idea from the whole museum. Although we have been in a museum as important as Dali’s museum in Figueres we have never been in another important museum. Now, we had been there, we value these importance. And we hope we had spent large time in there.

Our favourite Italian food

Our favorite Italian food is Pizza. I think is the most popular Italian food.
My mother cooks pizza every saturday night.
I think it's the best food in the world. If pizza was a free food I will be eating pizza all day.


I th¡nk this is a typical Italian dessert. It's true?
Because I don't know it. I found this recipe in internet.

Almond cake

1/2 cup fine yellow cornmeal
1/2 cup cake flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 stick (4 ounces) unsalted butter, softened
1/4 cup almond paste, cut into half-inch pieces
1 1/4 cups confectioners' sugar, plus more for dusting
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 eggs
4 egg yolks
1/4 cup sour cream

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Grease an 8-inch round cake pan with vegetable spray. An alternative is to butter and flour the cake pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the cornmeal, cake flour and baking powder and set aside.

Using a stand mixer with a paddle attachment, beat the butter and almond paste on high speed until smooth, about 5 minutes. Reduce speed to low and slowly add confectioners' sugar. Mix until thoroughly combined and light and fluffy. Raise speed to high and add the vanilla extract, whole eggs and egg yolks, 1 at a time. Mix until well combined. Reduce speed to medium and add the sour cream and dry ingredients and mix until just incorporated.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the surface with a spatula. Bake in the lower third of the oven for 35 minutes, or until the cake is golden and pulls away from the sides of the pan. Transfer pan to a wire rack and let cool. Remove from pan and dust with confectioners' sugar.

bread with tomato spread on it. after spread the
tomato on it we normaly add olive oil and some
salt. We have a lot of differents salamis and cheeases.

Carnival!!!!!!!!!!

We celebrate carnival in february. this year carnival has started in the first day of February.

I haven't gone to a carnival this year but this weekend I'm going to go to Castello d'Empuries with my friends. But I'm not going to disguise because I don't want to spend money.

I usually go where is a party in carnival because you meet people. This weekend I'm going to Castello D'empuries with my friends.

In catalonia the tradititon is diguise and going with a decorated car. You dance in top of the car and there you have a part with a little kitchen and you can eat and drink whatever you want.

I love carnival because you have fun with your friends and nights are very long.

Grease

Last November (thursday 22) we went to see the famous musical called Grease!


The musical talks about a girl who has met a boy(of her live)
and she fall in love with him, but when the boy is with his friends Danny the boy ignore Sandy.

How is Figueres

I invite you to came in Figueres because it's very interesting.

I don't know the priceses but i know that is a very good hotel and is the most important hotel in Figueres.

There aren't a lot of shops for buying clothes but they are very fashion.

The most visited site in Figueres is the Dali's museum.-->

Is a very beautiful museum with lots of pictures and big colourful paintings.

I know that the ticket isn't very expensive and you

can stay there a lot of hours having fun if you

like paitings.

If you want to have a camping you can do it at a very big park. "parc bosc" is very interesting and there are a lot of tables and banks.

In Figueres there's the biggest castle in europe.

I think it's not finished because it's not big it's HUGE!
